LayerZero is integrated into Arbitrum Nova’s mainnet

  • This will give developers interoperability and scalability
  • As LayerZero already supports 30 networks

LayerZero will deploy the protocol on Arbitrum Nova’s core network. It is an ecosystem for developers of games, apps and other DeFi products based on Arbitrum.

LayerZero is an interaction protocol that enables cross-transactions between blockchains. It offers a new way of interacting without third parties. In this way, transfers are secured and decentralized.

“Thanks to LayerZero, projects based on Arbitrum Nova can expand their application to more than 30 blockchains in the LayerZero network.. Developers already using LayerZero can easily upgrade to Arbitrum Nova.”

The protocol uses the lightweight LayerZero Endpoint network client. Such ZRO nodes work as exchange endpoints. Each ZRO point can link to a similar point in another blockchain.

LayerZero has already implemented Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Fantom, Arbitrum and Optimism networks. And in a few months, they plan to add more EVM and non-EVM networks, such as Solana, Polkadot, and Algorand.

LayerZero recently introduced the Essence validator tool. It will allow you to start the validator in just one hour. The finished product will appear in the coming months.
