Mining complexity has once again reached a new peak

  • June 14 this figure increased by 2.18%
  • The projected change was an increase of 0.19%
  • The current mining difficulty is 52.35 trillion
  • Hashrate reached 383.87 EH/s

According to another recalculation, on June 14 the BTC mining difficulty reached a new and already another historical record, it increased by 2.18%. This happened at an altitude of block 794,304. The current mining complexity is 52.35 trillion. The current average hash rate for the entire network is 383.87 EH/s.

This is not good news for individual bitcoin miners. Increased complexity means that to obtain the same amount of BTC you may need more powerful equipment, more computers and more energy. If the price of the coin does not rise at the same levels as the mining difficulty, it may make it less profitable.

The last record for BTC mining difficulty was set on May 31, when it reached 51.23 trillion.. In all, in May, the difficulty reached a historical maximum twice and once dropped. At the beginning of May, the figure dropped minimally, falling from 48.71 trillion to 48.01 trillion.. Mining complexity reached 49.55 trillion on May 18, with a hash rate of 366.19 EH/s. And also on the last day of the month, the indicator reached a new ATH of 51.23 trillion.
