Prisma Finance hacker demands live conference, apology after $11m breach

Prisma Finance, a stablecoin protocol, is facing the demands of a hacker who recently breached their system and stole nearly $11 million. The hacker, who describes themselves as a white-hat hacker, has requested a live online conference where they can confirm their identity and address Prisma Finance’s team directly. The hacker has also asked for public apologies to be sent to users and investors, emphasizing that their actions were meant to expose vulnerabilities rather than for personal gain. Despite using a method typically associated with malicious attacks, the hacker has maintained that their intentions were ethical. They have further stipulated that no negotiations regarding the stolen funds will take place until after the conference. Prisma Finance has been actively attempting to recover the stolen funds and is now faced with the hacker’s demands for a public acknowledgment of their oversight.
