Revenues of BTC miners grew by 13.7% in May

Analysts at The Block Research report that May was a positive month for miners. Last month, their revenue was $916 million.. This figure increased by 13.7% compared to the previous month. An important component of that amount is transaction fees, which amounted to more than $120 million.

The significant increase in miner revenue was driven by activity on the network, especially because of the increase in NFT bitcoins, as previously reported. The Block Research also reports that bitcoin transaction activity also increased significantly in May, reaching 16.9 million transactions for the month.

According to statistics for March, 4,498 blocks were mined, yielding about more than 28,000 bitcoins. The network hash rate has been 341 EH/s for the last two weeks. At that time, the income of the miners was $755 million.
