Top Decentralized Exchange (DEX) altcoin Uniswap (UNI) experienced a dip in price after delays were announced for a protocol upgrade. The DEX had planned on implementing a proposal that would have rewarded UNI token holders who staked and delegated their tokens. However, a new issue was raised that required further investigation, leading to the postponement of the upgrade. Uniswap is currently the leading DEX in terms of trading volume and monthly visits. Following the announcement, the price of UNI dropped from $11.04 to $9.86, trading close to its 24-hour lows at $9.93.
