Failed Attempt to Steal Crypto Machine Ends in Arrests in Texas

According to local media reports citing law enforcement, seven people were arrested in Texas after a failed attempt to steal a crypto machine.

Houston police said a group of intruders used a stolen truck, crashing it into a local store. Surveillance cameras showed several people jumping out of a truck.

The intruders stole several items from the store and also tried to take possession of a cryptomat, but without success.

“Please put these lunatics in jail.. They have already robbed my store three or four times. We do the hard work, and they ruin everything in a minute,” said store owner Fehmida Ali.

She estimates the total amount of damage and loss to be about $10,000.

In March, U.S. law enforcement authorities seized 18 cryptocurrencies from Coindawg LLC that were purchased with money fraudulently obtained from the government.

According to Coindawg Radar, in the first two months of 2023, the number of cryptomats dropped by 412 devices.

In this case, Australia and Poland became the leading countries in the installation of cryptocurrencies in the world.
