Lamborghini, with the participation of the VeVe platform, will launch its own NFT collection

Automobili Lamborghini, the renowned Italian luxury sports car manufacturer, is joining forces with the VeVe platform to introduce an exclusive collection of non-fungible tokens on February 18th.

The partnership between Automobili Lamborghini and VeVe was unveiled last year, marking the beginning of an exciting collaboration focused on creating tokenized representations of Lamborghini sports cars.

Building on their momentum, Automobili Lamborghini embarked on a collaboration with Swiss artist Fabian Oefner and the NFT Pro service in January 2022. This notable partnership, along with the involvement of prestigious stock house Sotheby’s, led to the launch of their first NFT collection, Space Time Memory. These non-fungible tokens quickly gained popularity among passionate sports car enthusiasts.

Since 2019, Lamborghini has been utilizing the Salesforce platform, powered by the innovative Hyperledger blockchain, to ensure the accuracy and authenticity of data related to their pre-owned vehicles. Additionally, in July 2022, Lamborghini’s subsidiary Vincenzo Sospiri Racing sealed a collaboration with the GO2 NFT platform, establishing a racing parts certification program through non-fungible tokens.

Subsequently, Lamborghini entered into agreements with NFT PRO and INVNT.ATOM to launch The Epic Road Trip collectible tokens. These tokens presented buyers with the unique opportunity to organize virtual car races within the metaverse. Unfortunately, the project concluded after eight months.

In a remarkable trend, Lamborghini is not the only automaker venturing into the NFT market. Hyundai Motor, a prominent South Korean automaker, introduced its own line of 30 exclusive tokens called Hyundai x Meta Kongz in 2022, further demonstrating the growing intersection between the automotive industry and non-fungible tokens.
