13 projects attracted $113 million in investment last week

We present the latest weekly selection of 13 projects that received funding last week from various investment funds. Here are details about each of these projects:

– Ironforge, a Solana-based development platform, announced the closing of a $2.6 million pre-seed round of funding. The round was led by Reciprocal Ventures, with participation from Hash3, 6th Man Ventures, Alchemy, Monoceros Ventures and Portage Ventures. Immediately after receiving funding, the company released its private beta version.  An Ironforge spokesperson said the platform has the potential to become the global standard for creating applications on Solana. The new capital allowed Ironforge to move from idea to production and expand its team to include several new stars from the Solana development community.

– British startup Gensyn has closed another $43 million funding round. Venture capital giant a16z invested in the project, as well as CoinFund, Canonical Crypto, Protocol Labs and Eden Block. The funding is being used to expand the Gensyn AI team and production costs, including a test launch of the network later this year.

– The next-generation fantasy sports platform, GameOn, has raised $1.7 million in investment in a strategic funding round. The investors were Lightning Capital and Flow. The company said the funds will be used to accelerate the GameOn platform and attract new major-league IP partners.

– Collectibles.com, which focuses on connecting and serving the interests of all collectors, has raised $5 million in seed round funding.. The platform aims to create the world’s first Web3 community and marketplace, which is valued at $500 billion. The investors were Blockchange Ventures, GFR Fund, Blockwall, and six other private investors.

– White Star Capital Venture Fund invests in BoomFi, a firm that optimizes cryptocurrency payments. Kraken Ventures, GSR, Blockchain Founders Fund, Passion Capital, and Aquanow participated in a $3.8 million seed round. BoomFi offers advanced payment features and aims to make crypto payments as easy as using a card. The company named three benefits of accepting cryptocurrency payments for merchants: savings, instant settlement and customer growth. New capital is needed to accelerate product development, build strategic partnerships and expand the sales base.

– NFT data and analytics provider Mnemonic, is raising $6 million in an expanded seed funding round.. The lead investor was Salesforce Ventures with Polygon Ventures, Orange DAO, FIN Capital and FJ Labs. The firm aims to give organizations a holistic view of how customers interact with their brand through traditional and new digital channels. New funding will help Mnemonic create use cases, deepen the analytics it offers, expand its market reach and strengthen its partner ecosystem. The company currently maintains the Base test network.

– Interoperability Protocol, Connext, has announced the closing of a $7.5 million strategic funding round.. Investors were such leading funds as Polychain Capital, Polygon Fund and NGC Ventures. Coinbase Ventures, Ethereal Ventures, 1kx, #Hashed and Scalar Capital also participated in the funding round. The company said in a statement that it plans to use the investment to create the Connext Foundation, which will be responsible for issuing grants for the development and financing of long-term growth strategies. Connext announced that they are creating “HTTP Web3,” developing a communication layer for various blockchain networks. That is, their goal is to allow programs to interact with finance and data simultaneously across multiple networks.

– GameFi’s short video platform, Cheelee, is raising $10 million in investment from VC SILA by SAFT fund. It is known that the funds will be used to further the development and marketing support of the social networking application of vertical video, where users can earn by watching tapes according to their preferences. In total, the company has already raised $32.75 million.

– Brink, a Bitcoin nonprofit, has raised $5 million from Jack Dorsey’s Smart Small. This round has an unusual form of investment disbursement, with funding to be disbursed over five years at $1 million per year to support existing grantees and potentially add new qualified applicants. Company officials said the new capital will go toward a grant program, including support for existing bitcoin developer grantees.

– Tokenized social network, Research Hub, has raised $5 million in seed round funding.. Everyone who publishes something useful on ResearchHub will receive an award in ResearchCoin cryptocurrency (RSC). With this new funding, ResearchHub will be able to expand the platform and invest in new features and tools to work together more efficiently. The funding round was led by OSS Capital, with participation from Boost VC and private investors Guillermo Rauch, Amjad Masad, Garry Tan, Bob Young.

– Payment Web-3 startup Poko, has raised $4.5 million in a seed funding round. Company aims to reduce problems with Web3 payments. To this end, Poko provides a seamless transfer of assets from local payment systems to Web3 infrastructure. The company’s platform can reduce the cost of buying NFT and cryptocurrency by up to 70%, increase the success rate of transactions by up to 5 times and increase the conversion rate of paying users by 79%. The leading investors were Y Combinator, NAZCA, Global Founders Capital. Also participating in the round were Goodwater Capital, Soma Capital, Amasia, CreditEase (宜信), Dentsu Ventures, Orange DAO, MS&AD Ventures.

– Decentralized infrastructure provider, Intuition, raised $4 million in seed round funding. Twenty-seven investors participated in the funding round, with Superscrypt fund leading the way. Shima Capital, Avon Ventures, WW Ventures, Matrixport Ventures, Polygon Ventures and ConsenSys, as well as several other private investors were also major investors.

– Spanish cryptocurrency exchange Bit2Me announced a $15 million investment. The funding round was led by Investcorp, with participation from Cardano Foundation, Yield Guild Games (YGG), Telefonica Innovation Ventures, Stratminds VC. In a statement, the exchange said the new capital is being used to expand operations in its native Spain, as well as spreading to Latin America. The last fundraising was already the fourth in the history of the exchange. In total, Bit2Me managed to raise about $22 million.
