5 Altcoins Experience Significant Trading Volume Spikes in South Korea’s Upbit Exchange
South Korea’s Upbit, the country’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has reported considerable increases in trading volumes for several altcoins. In particular, The Graph (GRT) displayed a remarkable surge in trading volume on Upbit, with a 158.17% increase from $720,000 to almost $2 million within an hour. In contrast, Binance, another major exchange, only witnessed a 7.86% change in GRT’s volume, reaching around $1 million.
Loom Network (LOOM) saw even more staggering numbers, as its one-hour volume on Upbit skyrocketed from an average of $82 million to $623 million, representing a striking 658.29% surge. Conversely, Binance reported a modest 30.31% increase during the same timeframe.
Pendle Network (PENDLE) also experienced unusual activity, with its one-hour volume on Upbit more than doubling from $707,000 to $2 million, marking a 172.55% rise. On Binance, PENDLE’s trading volume increased by 35.23%, which, although significant, was much lower than Upbit’s surge.
