A crypto betting platform for hamster races has appeared online

  • On July 11, the HamstersGG site went live. The administration holds hamster races and has a sweepstakes.
  • Users can bet on this or that rodent in BUSD. The races are broadcast on Twitch.
  • The project also has its own token – HAMS. It entitles you to a portion of the resource’s revenue.

The HamstersGG platform has gone online. It allows you to bet in cryptocurrency on hamster races. The project also has its own token, HAMS, the holders of which are entitled to a portion of the revenue from commissions.

“Hamsters are real, actually, just like bets. The rodents run along a track and the one who crosses the finish line first wins,” the platform’s homepage states.

The project was released on July 11, 2023. At the time of writing, more than 550 viewers were waiting for the next broadcast from the resource on Twitch.

Anyone can bet in BUSD. Funds are withdrawn to Binance Smart Chain. The winning ratio of the “contestants” is different. For example, a hamster named “CK” won only 8 races and lost 326.

The project also has its own token called HAMS. According to the site’s white paper, the administration charges 5% on all bets. At the same time, up to 90% of the received capital is distributed among native token holders.

According to DEXTools, the rate of the asset reached the level of $0.92. It is currently trading around $0.7. In a comment for CoinDesk, a spokesperson noted that this is just the beginning of the project’s development:

“Our vision is to scale in the long run. We’ve been working on this project for over three months now and are committed to building a sustainable and thriving ecosystem.” </nbsp;

There have been instances of this kind of curio sweepstakes before. For example, we reported on Polymarket, where users bet on whether the Titan submarine would be found and whether nuclear war would happen.
