Amazon Web Services announced $100 million for AWS Generative AI (Artificial Intelligence Innovation Center). It aims to help companies use artificial intelligence for commercial purposes.</nbsp;
Also Amazon said it will hire several new big data specialists, engineers and developers.</nbsp;
AWS has already partnered with giants Highspot, Twilio, RyanAir and Lonely Planet. They will be the center’s first customers.
The company has indicated that AWS Generative AI is not a physical office, but a special development program. His team will work with customers to create customized AI-based solutions. For example, pharmaceutical companies will be able to accelerate drug research and development. And manufacturers will create solutions to update designs and production processes. Financial firms using AWS Generative AI will be able to develop ways to provide customers with more personalized information and guidance.
With free workshops, meetings and training, AWS will help customers imagine and identify the use cases that will most benefit their business.
While Amazon itself has used artificial intelligence extensively for years to support its Alexa voice assistant. And they recently introduced their own version of ChatGPT called Bedrock.
