  • The highly anticipated solution is set to be released in early 2024.

According to Sota Watanabe, the founder of the Astar Network project, the team plans to launch the mainnet for the zkEVM L2 network in early 2024.

We previously discussed this innovative solution. Astar’s zkEVM network is built upon Polygon’s Chain Development Kit (CDK) and incorporates zero-knowledge proof technology.

The project primarily focuses on entertainment and blockchain games. According to the Gelato Network platform, since the launch of the Astar zkEVM testnet in October 2023, approximately 15,000 wallets have been created on the network.

The project team’s overarching goal is to drive Web3 development in Japan. It is worth noting that Astar Network’s developer is Startale Labs.
