Balaji Srinivasan Warns of Impending Cyberwar Initiated by the U.S. Government

  • Balaji Srinivasan believes it will happen very soon
  • And it will be initiated by the U.S. government

Former Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan warned crypto users of threats from tech giants Google and Apple. According to him, U.S. authorities can force these companies to forcibly seize our funds.

Is cyberwar coming?

Srinivasan bases his theory on current political situation. He recalled 2010, when Twitter and Facebook were the catalysts of the Arab Spring.

Back then, people had no idea that 10 years would pass and a debate would rage on Twitter about whether the former U.S. president’s account should be unblocked.

He also cited the situation with sanctions against Russia as an example. Many companies are forced to abandon their customers and suddenly block them from accessing their products.

So now digital blocking will no longer be classified as cyber terrorism. It will take place as part of a cyber war.

Further, the businessman voices the theory that owning a certain amount of bitcoins will one day become a key political issue.

Bankrupt governments can seize access to citizens’ cryptocurrencies to loot them for their own purposes.

We note that Srinivasan’s predictions are very mixed. He recently lost a dispute over the price of BTC and paid his opponent $500,000.
