Binance Founder CZ Teasing His Own Book

Binance Founder CZ Hints at Writing Personal Memoir

Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, commonly known as CZ, has casually mentioned the possibility of penning his own book in a recent post on the X social media network. CZ humorously remarked that he would have some “quiet time” coming up and that he might utilize it to engage in writing. Seemingly with little else to occupy his time, the Binance founder expressed his intention to give writing a try.

CZ’s lighthearted comment comes after his recent legal troubles. In April, he was sentenced to a four-month prison term, making him the wealthiest individual ever to be incarcerated in the United States. Prosecutors had initially sought a three-year sentence for the controversial 47-year-old entrepreneur. Last November, CZ pleaded guilty to money laundering violations and subsequently resigned from his role as Binance CEO. Additionally, he agreed to pay a substantial $4.3 billion fine.

Although stepping down from his position, CZ continues to make strides in the cryptocurrency industry. He recently teased an upcoming educational initiative called “Giggle Academy,” aimed at providing underprivileged children with knowledge in finance, blockchain, and other subjects like mathematics. Despite his legal setbacks, CZ has affirmed that he will remain an active cryptocurrency investor.

In a related development, another fallen cryptocurrency figure, Sam Bankman-Fried, already has a book detailing his story. Michael Lewis, renowned author of “The Big Short,” delves into Bankman-Fried’s rise and fall in his book titled “Going Infinite: The Rise and Fall of a New Tycoon.” Bankman-Fried, the former FTX boss, was handed a 25-year prison sentence last year.

As CZ contemplates embarking on his literary endeavor, readers and cryptocurrency enthusiasts may soon gain insight into the life and experiences of one of the industry’s most influential figures.
