Binance received two ISO certificates in France, Bahrain and the Emirates

  • This is a confirmation of the highest security and data privacy measures
  • The Bahrain and Emirates markets were opened last fall
  • Also Binance is interested in France, but has not yet obtained a license there

The Binance cryptocurrency exchange has two ISO certificates, numbered 27001 and 27701 in Bahrain, UAE and France.. CEO Changpeng Zhao made the announcement yesterday, June 4.

CZ published the notice on its Twitter page. For Binance, this is a huge step forward in developing these markets.

It should be noted that ISO 27001 is an international standard for information security compliance measures. The fact that an exchange has received this certification is recognition of the effectiveness of its data control management.. It is an extension to the previous standard, which introduces a number of new requirements for counterparties.</nbsp;

We should remember that in Bahrain, Binance launched its platform back in the fall of last year.. As a matter of fact, like in the UAE. Meanwhile, the month before last, local authorities demanded that the exchange disclose additional information about its organizational structure and audit.

With regard to France, the country introduced a licensing regime for CA service providers (VASP) this year.. But so far, none of the exchanges has passed the registration process to the end because of the high requirements.
