Bitcoin (BTC) Price Drops Today – Renowned Analyst il Capo Provides His Latest Insights Following the Plunge
The value of the world’s largest cryptocurrency, Bitcoin (BTC), saw a significant decline in recent hours.
From its midnight high of over $63,500, BTC experienced a drop of approximately 1.5%. While the exact reason for this decline remains uncertain, such fluctuations can occur over weekends, sometimes due to limited market liquidity.
Renowned figure in the cryptocurrency world, il Capo of Crypto, addressed the situation in a recent statement. Referring to the decline as a “typical Sunday dump,” the analyst shared further thoughts on the matter. According to il Capo, BTC’s price might experience a further dip in the near future; however, this decline can be seen as an opportunity. Nonetheless, the market remains uncertain regarding BTC’s price trajectory.
Examining the liquidation data, it can be observed that approximately $79 million worth of positions were liquidated in the entire cryptocurrency market within the past 24 hours. Of this amount, $48 million pertained to long positions, while $30 million were attributed to short positions.
