Bitcoin Whale Withdraws $59.6 Million in BTC from Binance, Ignites Market Speculation

A prominent Bitcoin whale, known for a previous massive sell-off in July, has once again caught the attention of the crypto community. This time, the whale has withdrawn a substantial amount of 1,000 BTC ($59.6 million) from Binance. Spot On Chain, a leading on-chain analytics provider, revealed this event on its official X account.

The whale had previously made headlines when it deposited a staggering 7,790 BTC ($467 million) into Binance between June 27 and July 8, 2024. It was during this period that the price of Bitcoin experienced a significant drop of around 14%. Many speculated that the whale’s actions contributed to this price decline.

After the latest withdrawal, the whale’s remaining holdings amount to 7,559 BTC, valued at approximately $451 million. This substantial position solidifies the whale’s status as one of the major players in the Bitcoin market. However, the recent withdrawal has raised concerns and speculation about the whale’s intentions. Some believe that the whale may be preparing to sell more BTC, possibly through an over-the-counter (OTC) deal.

The market will closely monitor the whale’s next moves, as they could potentially impact Bitcoin’s price and overall market volatility.
