Burger King in Paris Installs Crypto Payment Machines

Burger King, the fast food restaurant chain, has taken a bold step towards cryptocurrency adoption by installing Instpower external battery rental machines at its Paris locations.

The machines allow customers to make payments using cryptocurrency, and are linked to the Alchemy Pay and Binance Pay payment services.

This move is a significant development in the cryptocurrency space, as it allows users to pay for real goods and services using digital assets.

According to a press release by Alchemy Pay, this move by Burger King marks a major milestone in the adoption of cryptocurrencies for payments.

The availability of such systems in Paris is seen as a significant development for the European market.

Yann Phu, CEO of Flash Development, Instpower’s distributor in Europe, believes that this move will bring advanced payment options to Europeans, as similar machines are already widely used in Asia.

In 2019, Alchemy Pay introduced the world’s first hybrid payment acceptance system, which enabled payments in cryptocurrency to be accepted in stores and online.

The company later partnered with Binance in 2021 to simplify the Binance Pay payment method. Alchemy Pay was also added to the Visa International Payment System Extension for Third Party Agents (TPA) program in January.

Overall, the installation of these machines by Burger King in Paris is a significant development in the cryptocurrency space, and highlights the increasing acceptance and adoption of digital assets for real-world transactions.
