Cardano (ADA) Outshines Ethereum (ETH) in Developer Activity

Cardano’s (ADA) prominence as a developer-friendly blockchain protocol has been confirmed by its exceptional developer activity, surpassing even Ethereum (ETH), according to data from crypto analytics platform IntoTheBlock (ITB). From March 11 to 17, Cardano recorded 978,780 commits on GitHub, outshining Ethereum’s figure of 407,170 within the same period. While other layer-1 protocols like Avalanche, Litecoin, and Tron have also experienced significant developer commits, they still fall behind Cardano. This data aligns with the belief that developer activity is an indicator of a protocol’s potential, as it suggests the creation and enhancement of decentralized applications (dApps). Despite Cardano’s robust developer activity, its price has struggled, remaining below $1 since April 2022. As of now, ADA is trading at $0.6085, displaying a 10.16% decline in the past 24 hours and an overall drop of 18.32% in the past week.
