Chainlink (LINK) continues to maintain its position as the leading ERC-20 project in terms of development activity, as reported by crypto analytics platform Santiment. According to Santiment’s data, Chainlink recorded 649.03 notable GitHub events in the past 30 days, surpassing Ethereum (ETH), the second-ranked project, by almost double with 342.2 events. This marks the fourth time this year that Chainlink has claimed the top spot in development activity. Status (SNT), a web3 project focusing on secure messaging, crypto wallets, and web3 browsing, ranked third with 270.57 events.
Santiment’s methodology for tracking GitHub events excludes routine updates, ensuring a more accurate representation of a project’s development activity. The firm has emphasized that strong development activity suggests that developers have confidence in the project and reduces the likelihood of it being an exit scam.
Currently, LINK is trading at $11.11, experiencing a decline of over 6% in the last 24 hours. Despite this market fluctuation, Chainlink’s consistent high-level development activity demonstrates its commitment to innovation and growth within the crypto industry.
