Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire Unveils ‘Extraordinary’ Long-Term Crypto Prediction – Here’s His Outlook

Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire has shared his long-term prediction for the future of the cryptocurrency industry, describing it as “extraordinary.” In an interview with investor Anthony Pompliano, Allaire stated that stablecoins will gradually encroach on the dominance of electronic money held by banks. He drew a comparison between stablecoins and online videos, explaining that just as it took time for online videos to disrupt traditional cable broadcast, it will take time for stablecoins to establish a larger share of the market. Allaire believes that if stablecoins were to comprise 5% of the global market of electronic money within 10 years, it would be considered remarkable. He also noted that stablecoins will play a significant role in reducing the cost of moving funds to zero, similar to how internet utilities reduced the cost of storing and moving information. Allaire believes that this restructuring of the economics associated with money will lead to an expanded total addressable market for cryptocurrencies.
