CoinGecko Report Reveals Top Countries and Tokens for Meme-Coins

  • This is the statistic provided by CoinGecko
  • The most popular token here is SHIB
  • The top five also include India, UK, Philippines and Nigeria

CoinGecko analysts published a new report last week. It compiles the countries where meme-coins are most popular. The U.S. tops the list.

This country accounts for 23.58% of the total memcoin market.. In second place is India (20.31%), in third place is the United Kingdom (16.35%). Notably, it is the only European country that made the list at all.

The Philippines and Nigeria round out the top five.. The last country in the top 10 is Morocco, with just over 1% of the total market.

The spread of assets is no less interesting.. So, for example, in the U.S. the most popular meme-coin remains SHIB (60.7%), with PEPE in second place (11.8%) and BONK in third.

In India, the situation is somewhat different. SHIB tops the list of the most popular meme-coins (55.8%). But in second place is, unexpectedly, Baby DOGE with a share of 29.9%.

Lately popular PEPE is at the top of the list in only one country, Canada.. Recall that the capitalization of the asset has already exceeded $1 billion.

And in the Philippines, the most popular token is FLOKI.. It accounts for a 26.7% share. It is noteworthy that since the beginning of the year, the asset has increased in value by more than 300%.

It is interesting that in the Philippines and Nigeria less “promoted” coins are popular. These are, for example, ArbDoge AI and Dogelon Mars.
