Court blocks KeyFi founder Jason Stone from disposing of company assets

The Federal Court for the Southern District of New York has prohibited KeyFi’s CEO and persons associated with the company from transferring or disposing of any of the company’s property without a court order and notice to the Celsius Committee of Unsecured Creditors.

The court emphasized that Jason Stone and the entire KeyFi administration are prohibited from using the Tornado Cash cryptomixer or any other tools to hide the location of property that can be used to satisfy claims in the bankruptcy case of a cryptolender.

In addition, the court ordered KeyFi to provide the interim administration of Celsius with a report on the company’s income and expenses every two weeks.

As a reminder, Celsius and KeyFi have been involved in a legal dispute for some time now, with both parties making counter-charges.. Jason Stone sues Celsius alleging mismanagement and fraud. In response, Celsius filed a counterclaim against KeyFi and its founder, accusing them of theft, loss and laundering of large amounts of cryptocurrency.
