Crypto Analyst Anticipates Massive Airdrop Opportunity in 2024
Renowned crypto analyst, Miles Deutscher, recently shared his insights on what could potentially be one of the biggest airdrops in 2024. The highly anticipated Manta airdrop has generated significant buzz among the crypto community, with investors eagerly vying for a share of the rewards.
The Manta airdrop is closely linked to the Manta network, a cutting-edge layer-2 network that has garnered substantial investment. As the countdown to the airdrop continues, Deutscher predicts that it will stand out as one of the most significant airdrops of the year.
Manta Network presents itself as a “modular blockchain” on the Ethereum platform. Its newly launched Manta Pacific mainnet operates as a zero-knowledge (ZK) application L2, enabling developers to build high-performance applications with minimal fees and speedy settlements.
According to DeFilLama, a prominent industry tracker, Manta Network currently ranks 13th in terms of total value locked (TVL), boasting an impressive $287 million worth of assets across its protocols. This already places Manta ahead of other well-known rivals such as Kava, Gnosis, and Sui.
The ongoing New Paradigm campaign launched by Manta Network allows users to earn Manta tokens by bridging assets onto their platform. Participants can also increase their rewards by engaging with DeFi protocols and NFTs within the network.
To qualify for the Manta token airdrop, users must bridge their assets from Ethereum to the new L2. Deutscher advises bridging a minimum of 0.2 ETH (approximately $400) or the equivalent value in USDC. The more assets bridged, the higher the number of tokens users can potentially redeem during the expected airdrop later this month.
In addition to the Manta airdrop, the crypto community is eagerly anticipating another major airdrop involving Jupiter, a leading Solana-based protocol. Jupiter has announced plans to hold a retroactive airdrop for its community before the end of January.
