Crypto-Powered Brave Browser Experiences Impressive Growth with 30 Million Daily Users
The popular Brave browser, powered by cryptocurrency, has surpassed 30 million daily active users (DAU), maintaining its steady growth trajectory. Brendan Eich, co-founder and CEO of Brave, disclosed on social media that the browser’s DAU has now exceeded 30 million, with a growth of around 1% in September. Brave’s monthly active users also saw substantial figures, surpassing 83 million when using a historical measuring method and 71.6 million using the visible funnel method.
The browser’s privacy-focused search engine, Brave Search, showed significant growth as well, with over 1 billion queries per minute and an annualized rate of nearly 12 billion queries. This represents an 8.4% increase in growth. Despite this growth, the data shared by Eich indicates that non-Brave browser users account for approximately 8% of total queries per minute.
Brave’s success can be attributed to its commitment to transparency and user privacy. The browser offers built-in ad-blocking, enabling users to earn Brave Attention Tokens (BAT) for viewing privacy-respecting advertisements. These tokens can then be used to support their preferred content creators. Additionally, Brave has expanded its services by incorporating artificial intelligence features, such as an AI assistant named Leo, and offering a Virtual Private Network (VPN) in its paid plan.
The impressive growth of the Brave browser demonstrates the increasing demand for privacy-focused and cryptocurrency-powered platforms. As the browser continues to innovate and provide users with a secure and rewarding browsing experience, its user base is expected to expand even further in the future.
