Crypto Sleuth Identifies French Dev’s Massive TICKER Theft of $900K

Crypto investigator ZachXBT has uncovered a significant theft of $900,000 by French developer Jolan Lacroix in relation to the TICKER presale on Base. ZachXBT’s investigation revealed that the stolen funds were used to purchase memecoins and Milady NFTs. The identity of the thief, who goes by the alias Qwerty and resides in France, was disclosed by ZachXBT via an X post, and victims of the crime were encouraged to come forward and file cases against Jolan. ZachXBT provided additional details such as Telegram ID, contact number, and email ID. The theft occurred following the presale launch of TICKER on Coinbase’s Base platform, where 877 ETH worth $3.19 million was raised via the Party App on Base. The Token Generation Event was expected to allocate 24% of the tokens as Liquidity Provider (LP) Tokens, 71% for presale/airdrop, 1% for early contributors, and 4% for errors. However, Jolan sold 13% of the supply for $900,000 and received 15% for the airdrop distribution. The stolen funds were laundered through Orbiter Finance, Ethereum, Solana via Mayan Swap and Allbridge. Jolan taunted the team and community through now-deleted X posts, confirming his control over the stolen funds and showing no remorse for his actions. In response, Jolan is believed to have bridged $536,000 of the stolen amount back to Ethereum to purchase Milady NFTs and trade memecoins.
