Cryptofirms raised $129 million in investments last week

  • Startup Flashbots received the most funding, with $60 million.
  • Infrastructure projects dominated the week, with six projects.

Cryptocurrency companies raised $129 million in investments between July 24 and July 30, according to Coindesk. That’s $72.4 million less than a week earlier, when startups were able to raise $201.4 million in funding.

The largest fundraising round was a $60 million round for Flashbots, a company specializing in determining the maximum extractable value (MEV) of blockchain transactions, and a $30 million raise for payment app Hi.

Another startup that raised investment last week was EthStorage. A company specializing in scaling Ethereum-based data warehouses has raised $7 million in seed round of funding. This brought the firm’s valuation to the $100 million dollar mark.

Infrastructure projects again dominated the investment universe this week, with Web3 being the only other area represented. One could see the advantage of deals in the early stages – seed rounds or pre-Series A.
