CTO of Expand IT Arrested for Suspected Murder of Cash App Founder

Nim Momeni, the CTO of Expand IT and an entrepreneur, has been arrested by the San Francisco Police Department on suspicion of murdering Bob Lee, the founder of Cash App.

During a media briefing, San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott confirmed Momeni’s arrest and revealed that Lee and Momeni had known each other previously.

However, Chief Scott refrained from commenting on the motive behind the crime, citing that the investigation was still ongoing.

Unnamed sources disclosed that CCTV footage revealed Lee and Momeni were in the same vehicle the day before the murder.

According to the San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins, Momeni will make a court appearance on Friday, and prosecutors plan to file a motion to detain him without bail.

On April 4th, San Francisco police discovered Lee with stab wounds in a remote section of downtown San Francisco.

He was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries but eventually passed away.
