Bitcoin Exchange Binance Removes Three Altcoins from Trading
In a surprising move, Binance, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the delisting of three tokens from its platform starting April 3, 2024. The affected tokens are DREP (DREP), Mobilecoin (MOB), and pNetwork (PNT).
This decision reflects Binance’s commitment to upholding high standards and adapting to the ever-changing dynamics of the market. The exchange conducts periodic reviews, taking into account factors such as the project team’s dedication, development progress, transaction volume, network stability, regulatory compliance, and contribution to the crypto ecosystem’s health.
Trading pairs involving DREP, MOB, and PNT tokens will be removed from the platform promptly at 06:00 on April 3, 2024. Specifically, the affected trading pairs are DREP/BTC, DREP/USDT, MOB/BTC, MOB/USDT, and PNT/USDT. All open buy and sell orders on these pairs will be canceled automatically once trading ceases.
To ensure accurate assessments of holdings after trading stops, Binance advises users not to select the “Hide Small Balances” option in their wallets.
Deposits for the delisted tokens made after April 4, 2024, will not reflect in users’ accounts. Moreover, withdrawal of DREP, MOB, and PNT tokens will not be supported on the Binance platform beyond 06:00 on July 3, 2024.
