Ethereum and blockchain are set to be included in high school curricula in Argentina, thanks to a partnership between the ETH Kipu Foundation and the Ministry of Education of the City of Buenos Aires. The aim is to provide students with instruction and education on smart contracts-enabled blockchains, positioning Argentina ahead of its Latin American counterparts in this field. In addition to including Ethereum and blockchain in high school courses, internships in blockchain projects will be offered to students, and an online Solidity course will be developed to train young adults in coding Ethereum apps. The foundation is also focusing on training teachers in Ethereum to ensure the success of this initiative. The co-founder of the ETH Kipu Foundation, Paula D., expressed optimism about the program, suggesting it may open up new career opportunities and place Argentina at the forefront of the global blockchain movement. Buenos Aires has already been working towards crypto-friendliness by announcing plans to run Ethereum nodes by 2023.
