Ethereum co-founder, Vitalik Buterin, has made a significant transfer of 200 ETH ($534,000) to the Kraken exchange. This news comes as Ethereum’s price has seen a 3% decline over the past 24 hours, trading at $2,647.
This isn’t the first time Buterin has made such transfers. In August, he transferred 3,000 ETH ($8.05 million) to a multi-signature safe wallet, which was speculated to be a donation. Additionally, he moved another 3,000 ETH ($7 million) to a different wallet on August 5th. It is estimated that Buterin holds over half a billion dollars worth of ETH.
Interestingly, Buterin recently sold all his Neiro tokens for $112.5 worth of ETH. The Neiro team had sent him a 4% share of the token’s supply. It’s worth noting that Buterin has cautioned against projects sending him tokens in the past.
