Expert Explains Why XRP Haters Get Shocked Each Time Ripple and XRP Defeat SEC

Tony Edward, the host of Thinking Crypto Podcast and a prominent member of the XRP Army, has shared his reaction regarding the recent victory Ripple and XRP secured in the case with the US regulator.

In particular, Edward thrashed the people who had projected Ripple’s defeat in the legal battle and a bleak future for XRP.

Edward remarked: “A lot of people keep acting surprised by the rulings and news in the SEC vs Ripple case. Many expected Ripple to get destroyed and XRP to be killed off.”

A lot of people keep acting surprised by the rulings and news in the SEC vs Ripple case.

Many expected #Ripple to get destroyed and #XRP to be killed off. This viewpoint is as a result of the following:

1) Bias because they hold a competing asset such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.…

According to Edward, such expectations could be attributed to several factors. He highlighted a few reasons behind their prejudices against XRP and Ripple.

Reasons Behind the Bias for XRP and Ripple

Edward argued that XRP and Ripple’s haters are prejudicial because they hold competing digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum. The podcaster believes the love for their supported crypto made them biased and particularly hopeful for XRP’s downfall.

“They are not looking at the situation from a neutral standpoint,” Edward remarked. Therefore, they act startled by Ripple’s consecutive triumph against the SEC.

Secondly, Edward noted that the haters do not fully grasp the weight of the alleged underhand dealings of the SEC. Edward cited that the US regulator fought tooth and nail to conceal how it corruptly favored Ethereum over other projects.

Edward’s allegation is that the SEC gave Ethereum a free pass without charging the blockchain for violating security laws. In contrast, similar projects such as XRP faced high-profile lawsuits.

In his view, people siding with the SEC underestimate “how much the SEC has to hide with the Bill Hinman Ethereum free pass and other corruption.”

The podcaster’s last point was the lack of adequate knowledge about the entities involved in the lawsuit. He believes the XRP haters may not have sided with the SEC if they understood “the history of Ripple, XRP, and the crypto market as a whole.”

It is worth mentioning that Ripple and XRP just basked the third consecutive victory against the SEC with the dismissal of the trial scheduled for Ripple executives.
