- He will lead the Starknet ecosystem
The former regional director for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Facebook, Diego Oliva, will take over as CEO at the Starknet Foundation. It is known that the top executive will manage and grow the Starknet ecosystem, as well as direct efforts to grow the network.
Oliva commented on his appointment. The newly-elected leader said his main goal will be to focus on growing and expanding the Starknet developer and member community.
“My primary goal will be to support, empower and develop an active community of developers and other contributors who contribute to the growth of Starknet as a dynamic ecosystem for building and scaling Ethereum,” Diego said.
Oliva was previously appointed Regional Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Facebook (now Meta) from 2009 to 2015. He also co-founded Glue Home, an Internet of Things (IoT) solutions company, and served on the board of Just Eat.
