Formula 1 team Red Bull Racing enters into a crypto-alliance with Mysten Labs

  • Red Bull Racing fans will have an exciting Web-3 experience thanks to Mysten Labs
  • The Sui logo will appear on the team’s cars and equipment

Red Bull Racing, the most successful Formula One team in the world, has announced its partnership with another cryptocurrency company, Mysten Labs.</nbsp;

Red Bull Racing and Mysten Labs have announced a new partnership that will use Sui, a blockchain developed by Mysten and launched this month. Under the agreement, Mysten will create immersive experiences for fans on behalf of the team, and the Sui logo will appear on both the Red Bull Racing cars and the jackets of the drivers and pit crew members.

Ewan Cheng, Mysten’s co-founder and CEO, seems to be trying to remind the public that some blockchain startups offer services and solutions that go beyond digital currency trading or video games.

“Web3’s potential to fundamentally change the way people transact, interact and communicate goes far beyond the basic cryptocurrency trading applications or NFT card games we’ve seen so far,” he said.

Partnerships with cryptocurrency companies are not new to Red Bull Racing. Earlier, the team signed sponsorship agreements with Tezos and the trading platform Bybit. The latter, last year, agreed to pay Red Bull Racing the sum of $150 million.
