As Ultiverse director Frank Ma noted, the capital will allow the team to accelerate the development of an AI platform designed to create Web3 games. He also announced the launch of Ulti-Pilot, a new concept of avatars controlled by artificial intelligence that will allow sharing gaming experiences in the metaverse.

Note that the project was founded by Frank Ma, Jimmy Liu and Joe Chou in 2022. As of December 2023, the number of registered Ultiverse users has exceeded 7.3 million.

The platform has previously raised funds from Binance Labs, SkyVision Capital, Three Arrows Capital and other funds, according to Cryptorank. Thanks to a new round of funding, the startup’s valuation is close to $150 million.
