Gemini Unveils New Derivatives Trading Platform for Non-US Users

Gemini, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the launch of a new derivatives trading platform, which will be accessible to users across several countries worldwide.

The platform’s first product will be a perpetual contract for BTC paired with the Gemini stablecoin (GUSD). Later on, the platform will offer an ETH/GUSD contract for trading.

The Gemini Foundation, which oversees the platform, will enable users to engage in long or short positions using their crypto assets for the purposes of risk management and profit.

Moreover, customers can now convert US Dollars and USDC stablecoins to Gemini Dollar (GUSD) and back again, free of charge.

The new platform aims to provide a safe and reliable venue for spot and derivatives trading, allowing users to execute their strategies.

Gemini has expanded its presence worldwide, with offices in several countries, including the recent opening of an office in India.

With US regulators showing hostility towards the crypto industry, many US-based exchanges, including Coinbase, are eyeing overseas markets.
