GRASS Airdrop One is set to launch on October 28, 2024, marking a significant milestone for the Grass decentralized network. This airdrop aims to build the first user-owned map of the Internet. The widely distributed airdrop will reward early supporters and contributors to the Grass network.
To be eligible for the airdrop, users must have accumulated 500+ Grass Points during any epoch and have linked their wallet to the Grass dashboard by October 14, 2024. Airdrop One will allocate 100,000,000 GRASS tokens, representing 10% of the total supply, to early users and community members.
The mechanism of rewards will be based on the user’s Grass Points, with each eligible user receiving a distribution based on their contribution. The distribution method and timing will vary based on the user’s jurisdiction. Additionally, GigaBuds NFT holders and users who installed the Desktop Node or the Saga Application will also receive a portion of the airdrop.
GRASS tokens received through the airdrop will serve several purposes. Users can utilize the tokens for token buybacks and network fees, staking to secure the network’s infrastructure, rewards for contributions to the network, and governance rights, allowing token holders to participate in key decisions for the Grass network.
