Here’s When Ethereum and Altcoins Could Start To Outrun Bitcoin, According to Analyst Jason Pizzino

Here’s When Ethereum and Altcoins May Surpass Bitcoin, Predicts Analyst Jason Pizzino

Renowned cryptocurrency analyst, Jason Pizzino, has shared his insights on when he believes Ethereum (ETH) and altcoins could outperform Bitcoin (BTC).

In a recent video update, Pizzino, who has a substantial following of 321,000 YouTube subscribers, suggests that the altcoin market is gearing up for a significant rally, with the ETH/BTC pair serving as an indicator.

Pizzino states, “It still seems like the market is positioning itself for those enormous 37x potential returns for altcoins. The ETH/BTC pair is somewhat indicative of the impending altcoin surge.”

According to Pizzino, based on past patterns and assuming a similar behavior of the ETH/BTC pair as seen during Bitcoin’s peak in the 2021 cycle, traders could anticipate a breakout of the pair in the next few months, possibly in May or June. Pizzino’s chart further supports this projection.

“The idea here is that when Bitcoin hits a new all-time high one month, the following month usually dips, followed by a substantial rally in ETH,” explains Pizzino.

At the time of writing, the ETH/BTC is being traded at 0.05145 BTC ($3,616).

Pizzino further suggests that the smart contract platform Solana (SOL) is likely to follow a similar trajectory.

“A similar pattern could be observed with Solana,” shares Pizzino. “If we look back at the previous cycle, Solana was relatively weaker at that time and is now considerably stronger. Even then, when Bitcoin reached its new all-time high around November 2021, Solana faced a decrease in value against the USD, but that was the turning point for its skyrocketing growth. We seem to be in a similar period now with Bitcoin hitting a new all-time high.”

Currently, Solana is being traded at $196, experiencing a slight decline of 1.5% in the last 24 hours.

These insights provide traders and investors with a glimpse into potential opportunities where altcoins, particularly Ethereum and Solana, may outshine Bitcoin in the near future.
