The market cap of the global crypto market has steadily grown since the launch of Bitcoin. This growth is driven by the introduction of new assets and increased prices of existing ones due to capital inflows.

The global crypto market cap hit a low of $2.12 billion in February 2015, but by January 2018, it had grown to $761 billion. After fluctuating over the years, it now stands at $2.098 trillion.
During this time, XRP’s market cap also saw growth, reaching $128.48 billion in January 2018, with a market dominance of 18%. However, XRP’s market dominance currently sits at 1.57% with a market cap of $33 billion.

If XRP maintains its market dominance in a $12 trillion market cap, its price could surge. However, the extent of its growth would depend on the overall market growth. Experts have different targets.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse predicts that the global crypto market could reach $5 trillion by the end of the year, while Cardano Bull Dan Gambardello suggests the market could hit $12 trillion by 2026.

If XRP maintains its market dominance in a $12 trillion market cap, its market cap would be $188.4 billion, representing a 488.75% increase from the current $32 billion valuation.
XRP’s circulating supply would rise to 59.38 billion by 2026, with a market cap of $188.4 billion. At this point, XRP price would reach around $3.17, just below its all-time high of $3.31.
Some may find this prediction underwhelming, but according to Changelly analysts, XRP is expected to surpass $3 in 2028, two years after 2026.
With XRP currently trading at $0.5861, it would need to rally by 428% to reach the $3.1 target. Some analysts believe this feat could be achieved in a shorter timeframe, with predictions of XRP reaching $40 in a few months.
