Among all Ukrainian officials, the largest number of cryptocurrency holders were among the National Police and the Prosecutor’s Office. Of the 1,428 declarations for 2022 in which virtual assets appear, these two departments account for 321, Opendatabot reports.
The share of officials from the National Police in the overall standings is 12%, the prosecutor’s office – 10.5%, city councils – 7.6%, regional councils – 4%, district councils – 2.6%.
By region, the leaders are Dnepropetrovsk and Odessa regions – 72 declarations each. In third place is Kharkovskaya – 64. The fewest are in the Ternopil and Chernivtsi regions – 10 and 11, respectively.
Among the crypto assets, Bitcoin (BTC) was in greatest demand among officials in 2022.. It was indicated in 648 of 1,428 declarations.
