In the Terra Classic community, the Six Samurai offer was blocked

  • 57% of participants said no, with veto power
  • There were complaints about lack of funds and lack of transparency in the proposal
  • Six Samurai wanted to revive the project, including through a number of innovations

We reported earlier that a group of engineers who called themselves “Six Samurai” had proposed reviving the Terra Classic. To that end, they requested a budget of $116,000, but were sharply denied with a veto.

The vote on Proposition 11600 ended. 57% of participants answered “No, with veto power,” another 36% answered “No,” and only 7% answered “Yes.”. </nbsp;

As you may recall, Six Samurai proposed a number of measures to develop the project, including launching a testnet, switching to Columbus-6 and a developer rewards program.</nbsp;

Some steps mentioned in the application have been approved.. But major quorum members like Happy Catty Crypto, Classy’s Sphere, Lunanauts, JESUSisLORD, StakeBin spoke out strongly against it.

The main reason is the lack of funds in the treasury. The community noted that they simply could not allocate that amount of money to implement the ambitious plan. In addition, opponents of the proposal complained about the lack of transparency and high credibility of the existing group of developers.

It is interesting that before that “Six Samurai” stated that they were ready to cooperate with any other team that will receive the right to manage the project. So far, the group has had no comment on the voting results.
