Incrypted Conference 2023 gathered in Kiev more than 1,000 crypto-enthusiasts, including representatives of authorities and startups

This weekend, June 10-11, one of the most anticipated events among the cryptocurrency community in Eastern Europe – Incrypted Conference 2023 – was held in Kiev.. For the first time in history, the conference was held over two days and combined online and offline formats. All the tickets for the offline meeting were sold out weeks before the event.

On June 10, the online conference day included speakers: Eowyn Chen (Trust Wallet), Martha Belcher (Filecoin), Anton Bukov (1inch), Christina Lucretia (Cointelegraph), Alex Shevchenko (Aurora), Dmitry Kuriksha (UaCatsDivision) and other representatives of well-known projects. Recordings of their presentations and answers to questions are available now on the official Incrypted Youtube channel.

“The first day of the conference was made up entirely of English speakers and international projects. In this way we wanted to show that our cryptocommunity does not have the usual geographical boundaries. We are building a truly international brand and with this conference we are one step closer to our dream” – said Andrey Makarov, COO of Incrypted

On June 11th in Ukraine’s first innovation park UNIT.City hosted the second day of the conference, which brought together over 1000 representatives of the authorities, banking sector, regulators, large crypto startups and just crypto-enthusiasts from all over Ukraine. 

“We become those who in their desire to popularize Web3 in Ukraine will not stop at anything. We are becoming the ones who are ready to open Ukraine to the world as a powerful innovative and technological hub. Replacing the dying out of the old. And we haven’t even started yet” – Ivan Pavlovsky, CEO of Incrypted.

The second day of the conference in numbers was like this:</nbsp;

  • 11 hours of useful content from 20 speakers;
  • 10,000+ handshakes and contacts;
  • 1200 cups of coffee drunk;
  • 10 startups pitched their ideas;
  • 16 companies were partners and presenters;</nbsp;
  • 30+ media had media partners in the event.

The focus of the panel discussion was the Ministry of Digital Transformation (Yulia Parkhomenko), NBU (Arsen Makarchuk) and industry regulator (Yuri Boyko), and lawyers Evgeny Pronin from Pronin & Partners and Petro Bilyk from Juscutum. Discussed the legalization of cryptocurrencies in Ukraine, taxation and prospects for clear and transparent oversight. The moderator was Kirill Bondar – partner of UNIT.City.

Also, Vadim Grusha from TRUSTEE, Anna Shakola from Cointelegraph Accelerator, Oleg Bevz from Hacken and others shared useful information from the stage.
