Is the Bitcoin (BTC) Bull Over? What Do Small Investors Think? Here are the Latest Survey Results!
The decline in Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins, which began in June, has continued into the first week of July. This has made investors nervous, leading to speculations that the bull market may be coming to an end.
To gauge investors’ sentiments, Coingecko recently conducted a survey with interesting results.
A majority of cryptocurrency investors, comprising 81.6% of the participants, believes that the crypto bull run is not over yet.
Out of these respondents, 52.3% predicted that the current bull run is still in its early or initial stages, while 29.3% believed that the market is in the middle of a bull run.
In contrast, only 18.4% of the participants think that the current crypto bull market is in its final stages or has already come to an end.
A similar pattern emerged when distinguishing between newcomers to the crypto industry and experienced investors in terms of their predictions about the current cycle’s stage.
Among investors with 0-3 years of crypto experience, 52.7% believed the current bull run is still in its beginning or early stages. For investors with 4-7 years of experience, this percentage was 52.2%, and for those with 8 years or more of experience, it stood at 51.8%.
Furthermore, 81.7% of respondents expressed their belief that the crypto market has not yet reached its peak and will continue its upward trend when the real bull run begins.
On the other hand, only 8.1% of participants stated that the market has already reached its peak for this cycle and will only go downhill from here.
The survey was conducted anonymously, with 2,558 crypto investors participating between June 25 and July 8, 2024.
