Israel Stock Exchange and Fireblocks to offer crypto services to institutional clients

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange TASE has signed an agreement with digital asset platform Fireblocks to jointly offer cryptocurrency services for institutional clients.

The collaboration is designed to combine the expertise and influence of TASE and Fireblocks in the Israeli market, and will provide new institutional-grade digital solutions for regulated organizations. This is expected to open the door for institutional clients to tokenize various traditional financial assets and create new capital markets.

When choosing digital solutions and areas of future cooperation, the companies intend to focus on the results of the Project Eden initiative, in which the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and the Israeli Ministry of Finance joined forces to issue government digital bonds on a dedicated blockchain platform.

Earlier, the Israeli parliament began considering a bill that would exempt foreign investors from capital gains tax on the sale of digital currencies.
