According to recent reports, Nasdaq has made adjustments to the Valkyrie Bitcoin ETF 19b-4 application and has also filed an amendment to Blackrock’s iShares Bitcoin ETF 19b-4 application.
This action suggests that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has been holding private discussions with exchanges regarding the 19b-4 filings and is now satisfied with the latest submission.
Eric Balchunas, alongside James Seyffart and Eleanor Terrett, closely monitored these developments and revealed that this filing indicates the SEC’s active involvement in discussions with exchanges, signifying their contentment with the final filing.
Balchunas stated, “Bitcoin Spot ETF Approval is OK,” further affirming the completion of the approval process. However, he emphasized the need for an official announcement from the SEC to confirm the news.
