JUST IN: Elon Musk Discusses Bitcoin Following Approval of Bitcoin Spot ETFs

Elon Musk recently engaged in a Twitter Spaces event alongside Cathie Wood to discuss the recent approval of Bitcoin Spot ETFs by the SEC, marking a significant milestone for the cryptocurrency industry. During the event, Wood posed a question to Musk regarding his potential utilization of BTC within the X (formerly Twitter) infrastructure.

In response, Musk expressed his openness to the idea of incorporating Bitcoin into X, but also revealed that he does not think about BTC extensively in his day-to-day life. This stance aligns with Musk’s previous statements regarding cryptocurrency technology, where he has stated his limited interest in the subject. Notably, Musk’s company, Tesla, had previously accepted BTC as a form of payment for their electric vehicles but later discontinued this option due to environmental concerns.

Wood, on the other hand, is recognized as a strong advocate for Bitcoin, and her company Ark Invest successfully had its BTC Spot ETF application approved by the SEC on the same day. This development further highlights the increasing mainstream acceptance and adoption of cryptocurrencies.
