A new layer-1 blockchain network has surpassed Decentraland to become the leading cryptocurrency gaming project in terms of development activity. According to analytics platform Santiment, MultiversX (formerly Elrond) has registered 236.93 notable GitHub events, compared to Decentraland’s 150.4 events. This shift in rankings indicates that MultiversX is attracting significant developmental attention. Additionally, Santiment has stated that such high development activity is a positive sign for a crypto project’s success and reduces the likelihood of it being an exit scam. MultiversX is a distributed, proof-of-stake blockchain network with over 3,000 nodes, aimed at supporting the development of next-generation applications.
