Major SHIB Call Issued by Shiba Inu Team to Community, Here’s What It Says
The Shiba Inu team, led by marketing lead Lucie, has responded to criticisms from within the SHIB community. Lucie urged critics to take action and do better themselves instead of simply criticizing. She emphasized that in the decentralized world of blockchain, everyone has the opportunity to contribute and succeed. Lucie also reminded the community that there are no owners in the SHIB ecosystem, particularly in the Shibarium blockchain.
The team has been facing criticism for the slow burning of Shiba Inu tokens. Lucie has continuously emphasized that burning SHIB is a collective responsibility and that increased on-chain activity will lead to more tokens being burned.
Additionally, the team shared news about a “diamond holder” of SHIB who recently sold nearly 50 billion coins. This holder had initially purchased the tokens in February 2021, when SHIB was still relatively unknown. After holding onto them for 3.5 years, they made a significant gain of 419x, selling the stash for over $1 million.
In other news, the SHIB burn rate has increased by 79% in the past 24 hours. Over 5.5 million SHIB coins were transferred to unspendable blockchain wallets, contributing to the burning process.
Overall, the Shiba Inu team remains committed to addressing community concerns and supporting the growth of the SHIB ecosystem.
