Near Foundation partnered with Alibaba Cloud

  • This will accelerate the scaling of the protocol ecosystem by attracting new developers
  • They will have access to rapid deployment tools for nodes and RPC interconnectivity

The Near Foundation today, June 26, announced a strategic partnership with Alibaba Cloud, a division of the tech giant of the same name. The agreement is designed to facilitate the development of Web3 in Asia, as well as to accelerate the scaling of the protocol ecosystem.

The partnership is reported by CoinDesk, citing the organization. The agreement will attract more developers to the Near network. In addition, they will be able to run blockchain nodes through Alibaba Cloud’s plug-and-play infrastructure.</nbsp;

The remote procedure call (RPC) service will also be made available to users. This is a mechanism that allows programs and applications to perform certain functions in another address space. In this case, it is necessary for interconnectivity.

The Blockchain Operating System (BOS) from Near Near will be used to coordinate between users.. The protocol released this platform in March of this year. We looked at it in detail in a separate article.

Interestingly, before that we reported that Joseph Tsai had become chairman of Alibaba Group’s board of directors.. He is a well-known supporter of cryptocurrencies and blockchain. It is possible that the new partnership is primarily due to this.
