Neo releases NeoCLI v3.7.4 and prepares for MainNet upgrade

Neo has recently released NeoCLI v3.7.4, an update that is now available on the TestNet and set to be deployed on the MainNet on May 24. This update focuses on improving third-party integrations by providing enhanced support for Koblitz- and Keccak256-based witnesses.

One of the key improvements in this release is the streamlined experience for applications when verifying secp256k1 signatures. The update also includes the addition of Lambda expressions and Linq queries to the neo devpack for .NET, as well as the ability to read application logs through the command line.

To utilize the new version, node operators are required to update their systems to .NET 8.0. For those using Ubuntu, it is recommended to update the operating system to at least version 20.04. The upgrade process involves a fork, with the TestNet set at block 3,967,000 and the MainNet at block 5,450,000. This requires a configuration update and resynchronization.
